えっ？！子供に使えない名前？

以前、お子様の名付けに関して、女の子、男の子と記事を書かせていただきました。

今日は、イタリアの法律で禁止になっている名前もご紹介します。

1993年（もう20年近くも前！）、「悪魔」という名前の新生児の名前が受理されなかったとニュースで話題になりましたよね？

「悪」も「魔」も常用漢字の範囲であることから受付されたが、市が法務省民事局に本件の受理の可否に付き照会したところ、子供の福祉を害する可能性があるとして、親権の濫用を理由に不受理となった。

そんな事件です。

ロックダウン中のインドで3月に生まれた双子、「Covid コヴィッド」「Coronaコロナ」という名前をつけたというニュースもありましたね。

将来は変えるかもしれないと両親は取材に応じていましたが。。

困るのは大きくなった時の子供たち、親が良かれと思っても、生まれたばかりの子供たちは何もいえない。そんな時に立ちふさがるイタリアの法律、

イタリア版法律で禁止になっている名前を紹介します。

１、お母さん、お父さん、兄弟・姉妹の名前
２、苗字と名前が一緒
３、馬鹿げた名前
４、歴史上の人物の名前
５、文学の名前
６、架空の名前
７、子の性別と一致しない名前
８、 3つ以上の名前
まとめ

１、お母さん、お父さん、兄弟・姉妹の名前

イタリアでは祖父や祖母の名前と一緒というのはよく聞きます。

なので、ダメなんだ！と多少びっくり。

そもそも聖人の名前をつけることが多い、つまり名前の幅が少ないので、親戚の中でもたくさん同じ名前がいます。

私の旦那はロレンツォ、従兄弟もロレンツォという具合です。

日本だと、親戚の間でも被らないようにするのが普通だと思うのですが、あえて親戚と同じ名前をつけるのはイタリア流！

２、苗字と名前が一緒

当たり前のようですが、名前のような苗字が意外と多くあります。

フランチェスコー二、クリスティーナ、アレッサンドリ、ディロレンツォ、アンブロージ。

ディロレンツォに関しては、「ロレンツォの」という意味です。

私の友人、フランチェスカ　ディロレンツォ。（ロレンツォのフランチェスカ）と本当にこんな名前の人もいます。

３、馬鹿げた名前

これは判断が難しいですが、身体的なハンディキャップ、侮辱、不幸を表すような名前。

姓と組み合わせると、皮肉で恥ずかしくなる人も含まれるそうです。

そもそも親がそんな名前つけない？！

４、歴史上の人物の名前

アドルフヒトラー、ビンラディン、またはスターリンなど。

歴史上の人物の名前は禁止。

理由としては、恥ずかしさを引き起こす可能性があるからとのこと。

５、文学の名前

ドラキュラ伯爵、モビーディック、グレートギャツビー

4と同様、本に記載されている登場人物の名前についても同じことが言えます。

６、架空の名前

完璧な架空の名前を思いついたとしても、これは登記所で拒否されます。

漫画のキャラクターの名前もこのカテゴリに分類されます。

架空の名前って判断は難しい、、、、

７、子の性別と一致しない名前

これはイタリアらしいのですが、性別にあった名前が求められます。

イタリアの場合、女の子は「母音があ」男の子は「母音がお」で終わるのが性別にあった名前です。

例えば、

女の子、マリア、ソフィア、ジュリア、パオラ、モニカ、エリカ、ヴィオラ

男の子、パオロ、ロレンツォ、ステファノ、マッテオ、レオナルド

例外として、Andrea（アンドレア）のような、「あ」で終わるけど、男性の名前、というのもあります。最近のトレンドではこれにこだわらない子供も増えてきているように思います！

８、 3つ以上の名前

セカンドネームまで与えることがよくありますが、3つを超えないことが重要です。

日本とイタリアのハーフの場合、セカンドネームに日本名をつけている人も多いです！その場合、日本のパスポートは二つの名前がくっついて記載されるんですよ。
山田　ジュリア愛子　のような感じ

まとめ

イタリアには外国人も多く、上記のルールに適応できないこともありますがこれが法律のようです。日本人の名前だと何かのアニメと被ってしまう可能性もありますもんね！
